‘The Little Goldfish Who Avoided The Dish’

Featured are pages from 'The Little Gold Fish Who Avoided The Dish', a spirited tale of a small goldfish navigating the challenges of the vast ocean, constantly reminded of his size by larger creatures. However, when danger strikes and his newfound friends are captured, it's the little fish's cleverness and determination that come to the rescue. Crafted using a blend of traditional and digital techniques, the illustrations capture the vibrancy and depth of the underwater world. This project, in collaboration with writer Lydia Colston, was a heartening journey into the rich landscape of children's narratives.

Picture Book Illustrations

A selection of illustrations for 'A Secret Love’s Recipe'. Crafted using a blend of charcoal and digital techniques, these illustrations portray a girl's journey, spurred by a mystical potion recipe. As she sets out to gather the ingredients, she delves into lessons about love, companionship, and the power of self-belief. The deliberate limited colour palette, centered on black and yellow, adds depth to the narrative. Black represents the mysteries of her journey, while the glowing yellow from the ingredients signifies hope and enlightenment, emphasizing her evolving understanding.
